St. Michael’s Easter Services Online

As you may have read in the newsletter, at St Michael's we're planning to run on-line, simple services on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. These services are not Mass, but an opportunity for parishioners to "gather" on these special days.

The timing of these services is as follows -

6.30 pm on Maundy Thursday 

2pm on Good Friday and

11.30 am on Easter Sunday. 

Each service is expected to run for about 30 minutes and we will be sending out Orders of Service in due course.

Get an Invitation

The services will be hosted on the ‘Zoom’ video-conferencing system. Our capacity is limited to 100 users, so if you are interested in attending, please email smichaelweb@gmail..com and we will send you an invitation. In your reply, please tell us whether you are already familiar with Zoom or need help getting started.  The attached document tells you a little more about Zoom and what you need to do to get going.

Practice Sessions

We will be running 4 practice sessions in advance of Thursday’s Service. The purpose of these sessions is to allow you to practise joining a Zoom meeting. I.e. to try to avoid last minute technical hitches.

If you have used Zoom before, or are confident in your technical abilities, then you do not need to attend. If you want to check it out, you only need to stay in the meeting for a minute or two.

The practice sessions are at 2pm and 5 pm on Tue 7^th and Wed 8^th April. The Online Links below are specific to each practice session, so choose your session and make sure you click on the corresponding link.
