Christian Aid:  (click) our involvement in the annual week of fund raising is led by Pat Cass

Ecumenism: includes Ashtead Churches Together (ACT) which organises the Ashtead Good Neighbours; the Unity Week Service in January and Pond Service on Good Friday. Ashtead Churches Community Trust grew out of ACT and has raised £100,000 to employ a youth worker (Gary Nash) for 3 years from 2009. Martin O’Donovan represents St. Michael’s on the Trust.  ACT is also involved in the Ashtead Village Day in June each year running the Tea Tent. St. Michael’s is represented on the editorial team for the Churches magazine ‘Ashtead At’. This magazine appears 3 or 4 times a year.

Justice & Peace: led by Paul Gruzalski in Making Poverty History, the Trade Justice Movement, and development of a local approach to the Common Good campaign. This has included a meeting with our local MP Chris Grayling attended by representatives of the 3 Churches.
